I’m a Costa Rican artist based in Irvine, California. With a background in graphic design, I naturally transitioned into painting as a way to explore more personal and expressive forms of visual storytelling. My early inspiration came from my heritage and the lush landscapes of my native country.

Growing up in a bicultural household—Costa Rican and Czech—profoundly shaped my worldview, while life in Southern California, now my home, introduced me to new perspectives and influences. These layered cultural experiences continue to develop my work.

My art celebrates the essence of women and nature, weaving together personal experiences and symbolic concepts with the vibrant flora and fauna of both my homeland and my adopted environment. Each piece is a tribute to femininity and the natural world, reflecting my deep emotional and spiritual connection to both. As a woman, I aim to depict the complexity and strength of female identity in its many forms.

I invite viewers into a space where my personal narrative can resonate with their own—where shared emotions and experiences find common ground. My practice is constantly evolving as I experiment with form, color, and material, while remaining rooted in the cultural and environmental forces that shape my artistic voice
